Free ZAP anti bullying workshops and Internet Safety Course from Kidscape
ZAP Community Online
We have had great success in recently adapting our ZAP resilience programmes for children, parents and carers so that they can be delivered in a virtual learning environment. ZAP Community Online is a FREE one hour workshop for young people aged 9-16 who are dealing with a bullying situation, or have experienced bullying. ZAP provides young people with a range of tools to increase assertiveness, build confidence and help manage bullying situations. It is expected that parents or carers will be present with their children during the morning session. As part of ZAP Community Online we also provide a supporting session for parents and carers.
The next ZAP online workshops are due to run on Monday 27th April and Wednesday 6th May. The ZAP workshop takes place in the morning from 10-11.30am followed by the ZAP parent workshop at 1-3pm later in the same day.

Online Safety and Awareness course
Kidscape offer for parents and carers, an Online Safety and Awareness session, which runs for 1.5 hours and aims to equip parents and carers with knowledge to understand the potential risks associated with keeping children and young people safe online. The internet is a wonderful tool for children and young people to use, however, during the sessions we deliver, we will learn about harmful content online, cyber bullying, gaming, live streaming, sexting and much more. The Online Safety and Awareness session is run via the Zoom platform and is straightforward to use.
