The Launch of 'The LlandyGonks' by Davy T

We had a fantastic morning out at the book launch of The LlandyGonks of Dragon Lake.

The children started with a treasure hunt round the lake trying to find the different characters, we were then lucky enough to listen to the story by the author Davy T and finished off with an ice cream treat.

The staff from the lake commented on the excellent behaviour of all the children in Dosbarth Ffawydden and their impeccable manners. Well done all!

Who are we?

Fact Files

This term in Dosbarth Ffawydden we have been creating Fact Files all about ourselves and someone we live with. Mrs C-J came to see our work and gave each sticker a smelly sticker because she was so proud of the hard work!

Persuasive writing

Our aim for this half term is to create pieces of work to persuade people to visit our wonderful town, Llandrindod Wells. We have been very lucky to have both The Hive and The Lakeside Boathouse in to visit us and tell us all that they do for our town. We have also been out of school to visit The Metropole and The Albert Hall.

We are now going to create leaflets, posters and adverts for these businesses!
