Transition for children starting Reception in September.

Welcome to our school!

Hello ! We are Mrs Blundell and Miss Dawn and we are looking forward to teaching you when you start school.

This is the schedule for your first week joining our Reception Class. Please note the first Monday is a staff training day, so we will start on Tuesday 3rd September. Please come to the big red wooden gates by the car park.

This is Mrs Hards. She sometimes helps in our class too.

This is Ms Soporova our Headteacher, and Mrs Cadwallader-Jones our Deputy Headteacher. They will be at the gates every morning, don't forget to give them a big smile.

Here are some of our previous Reception children holding on to the 'friendship rope'.

We use this every morning to safely guide the children into school. You will come to the school gates with your 'Grown-Up', and we will meet you with our 'Friendship rope'. We say goodbye to our adults and then in we go!

Look at the photos below to see some of our previous Reception children enjoying some of our daily activities!

In the morning we enjoy our funky fingers activities.

Here we are having our snack in class.

Look at us playing outside in our Early Years garden.

We eat our lunch in the school hall.

After lunch we play in the big yard or on the school field.

We love getting busy in our classroom.

We enjoy a story at the end of each day.

These are our class fish. There are Platys and Danios. We work together to look after them.

Here are some photos of our setting areas, both inside and outside. We can't wait to get busy with you!

Here is our cloakroom where we will hang our coats on our pegs.

This is our outdoor play area.

We are very lucky to have this lovely 'wild area'. It has a mud kitchen, log circle, fairy garden, music area, writing shed, construction area, and a hammock for relaxing!
