Dysgu Heddiw Er Mwyn Llunio Yfory

Dosbarth Cangen - Mrs Shearman

The children made welsh cakes... and enjoyed eating them!

We made Welsh cawl in our mud kitchen.

We have developed our gross motor skills using the large equipment

Using non standard units to message igloos. 🧊

We learnt about The Northern Lights and then created them using different painting techniques. 🌌

Disaster struck! Our geckos froze in blocks of ice! The children had to use their knowledge and skills to melt the ice and warm the geckos cold blood. 🦎

We enjoyed finding out about China. We made some Chinese food and built an amazing Great Wall of China out of construction. 🇨🇳

The Arctic

I can hear the snow crunch on the ground,

I can smell the rotten fish left by the polar bears,

I can see the Northern Lights dancing and shimmering in the Artic sky,

I can taste the melting snowflakes on my tongue,

I can feel the ice cold water trickling on my hand.

Spring term 2025

Our whole school topic this term is 'Let's Explore!'

The children have decided to begin our topic by finding out about The Arctic.

Welcome to our class page.

Our Topic this Autumn term is Long, Long Ago. The children have been busy deciding what they would like to find out. As well as our topic we will also be learning about celebrations and the changing seasons.

We love exploring our wild area.

The children looked at homes from different time periods and tried to put them in chronological order. They did brilliantly.

The children have been historians looking at artefacts from the past, they used their senses to investigate them are tried to guess the mystery objects.

The children have been busy in our ‘Make and Do’ area, they plan their creations and then buy the items they need.

We were treated to an amazing show and tell.
