Governors
Committee and responsibilities
The Governing Body provides support, challenge and scrutiny to the school leadership. The governors help to plan and shape the direction of our school. They take account of budgets and any proposals made by the headteacher and the senior leadership team in order to:
- ensure the school provides the best possible education to all pupils,
- the school delivers a good value for money,
- the school meets all manatory requirements.
The School Governing Body meet on a regular basis and have several sub-committees which also meet regularly.
Additionally, all governors take on responsibility specific to their skills, knowledge and interestes. Those are agreed annually and include attendance, safeguarding, AOLEs, ALN etc.
