Transition for children starting Reception in September.

Welcome to our school!

Hello ! We are Mrs Blundell and Miss Wilke and we are looking forward to teaching you when you start school.

This is the schedule for your first week joining our Reception/Year1 Class. Please note the first Monday and Tuesday are staff training days, so we will start on Wednesday 3rd September. Please come to the big red wooden gates by the car park.

From Tuesday of your second week, it will be a normal school week of 8.45am - 3.30pm every day. More information is given in your welcome letter.

This is Ms Soporova our Headteacher, we call her Miss S. She will be at the gates every morning, don't forget to give her a big smile.

Here are some of our previous Reception children holding on to the 'friendship rope'.

We use this every morning to safely guide the children into school. You will come to the school gates with your 'Grown-Up', and we will meet you with our 'Friendship rope'. We say goodbye to our adults and then in we go!

Look at the photos below to see some of our previous Reception children enjoying some of our daily activities!

In the morning we enjoy our funky fingers activities.

Here we are having our snack in class.

Look at us playing outside in our Early Years garden.

We eat our lunch in the school hall.

Here is the current school menu to choose lunch from.

After lunch we play in the big yard or on the school field.

We love getting busy in our classroom.

We enjoy a story at the end of each day.

These are our class fish. There are two Goldfish called Goldie and Stormzy and some Danios. We work together to look after them.

Here are some photos of our setting areas, both inside and outside. We can't wait to get busy with you!

This is our outdoor play area.

We are very lucky to have this newly improved outdoor area. Croeso i Ardal Gwyllt (Wild Area). Take a walk with us past 'The Climbing Tree' and 'Rolling Hill', across the 'Rainbow Bridge' and into the 'Cuddfan Darllen', past the 'Investigation Station', stop for a rest in the hammocks and then into the 'Cegin Llyn'. Where the learning is plenty and the fun is neverending.
