Our Remembrance
Remembrance 2023
This year, we held a Remembrance assembly in school where members of Y Senedd read a poem and Mrs CJ and Mr Mann played 'The Last Post' and 'Reveille.' We were very proud of all of our pupils from Reception to Year 6 who showed excellent understanding and listened respectfully to the assembly.
Following this, on Sunday 12th November, members of Y Senedd represented Ysgol Cefnllys at the Remembrance Parade in Llandrindod Wells. Yet again, we were very proud of them all and of the chair and vice-chair who had the responsibility of the laying of the wreath.

Each child made a poppy with sticks and wool to contribute to our cascade of poppies on the tree.
Mr Mann, Governor and Mrs CJ played the Last Post and Reveille.
Four of our children read the remembrance day poems.
All the children participated in the silence.
A great way for us all to remember.
