Behaviour Support in our school

As a trauma-informed school, we are aware that all behaviours occur for a reason.  Behaviours are presented to communicate people's needs and wants. We all present behaviours in order to fulfil our needs, wants and desires.

Sometimes, children present behaviours that could cause concerns. We follow our positive behaviour policy with strategies to support our pupils and their individual needs.

Our staff team is highly skilled and trained to support pupils with a wide range of experiences and a range of coping strategies. We provide support to the best of our ability, and we are always seeking new opportunities to upskill. However, if we feel that more specialist support is needed, we have clear mechanisms for seeking support.
