Expressive Arts is one of the learning areas in the new Curriculum for Wales. It helps children express themselves creatively and build confidence through art, music, dance, drama, and film/digital media. Children learn by exploring ideas, making things, performing, and talking about creative work. Expressive Arts supports imagination, communication, wellbeing, and helps children understand different cultures — including Wales — while developing skills they’ll use throughout life.
