Safeguarding procedures

At Ysgol Cefnllys, the safety and well-being of our pupils is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a secure, caring, and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and respected.

We have robust safeguarding policies and procedures in place, which are regularly reviewed and updated in line with national and local guidance. All staff receive regular training to ensure they are equipped to identify and respond to any concerns about a child’s welfare.

We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to promote the welfare of our pupils and to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or well-being, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at the school or Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) in the DSL absence.
