Within the Early Years we use 'Squiggle While you Wiggle' and 'Dough Disco' to encourage fine motor development ready for writing. The children are supported in developing letter formation and phonic knowledge through a variety of meaningful mark making opportunities, alongside the Monster phonics reading scheme. Oracy skills are developed throughout activities, including Pie Corbett storytelling routines using actions to retell and sequence familiar stories.
