Our playground development has been driven by the pupils, staff and our Friends of Cefnllys. 

Outdoor learning 

Our playground is currently under development. Our aim is to promote creative play, offer various physical activities, develop problem-solving skills and foster team work. A musical wall, a play café, a small theatre and a small parts area are few of the many features of our interactive playground. 

New Playground structure (coming soon)

Our pupils had the final say in the choice of the playground structure design. They had three, very different structures and, using a democratic voting process, their minds were set on a very multi-functional wood/rope structure. We are now in a process of final project planning and hoping to have a new structure in our playground by the summer holiday.
