Welcome to our year 1 home learning page. Below you will find a plan of activities for the week. Some are quick activities whilst others may need a few days to complete. I hope your children enjoy completing them and look forward to seeing some of their work in our google classroom. Your children may need reminding how to hold their pencil correctly and also how to form their letters and numbers- most start at the top. As well as the planned activities there are also books assigned to them on Giglets to read/listen to and maths games on Abacus. In class the children use the different areas of Jit5 on Hwb to create pictures, writing, pictograms and coding, whilst at home they can continue to develop these skills and save their work. On our website there is also a link for daily phonics lessons. Finally I hope the children are enjoying this glorious weather and are still singing Happy Birthday whilst washing their hands!
